Maggie DiMasi scored the game-winning goal with 55 seconds left in the third period to lift Northeastern to a 2-1 non-conference road win over the Union women's hockey team Friday afternoon at Messa Rink.
Union (2-2) struck first on a Jessica Kaminsky goal at 1:18 of the first period.
Kaminsky's tally was the difference until Northeastern (2-1) rallied in the third period. Kelly Wallace scored a shorthanded goal at 9:35, and DiMasi's dagger with under a minute to play gave the Huskies the lead for good.
After getting yanked for Maddie Dahl in last Saturday's 6-2 loss to Providence, Shenae Lundberg was given the starting nod and stopped 28-of-30 shots.
