Union women's hockey assistant coach Ali Boe has been promoted to associate head coach, the school announced Thursday.

Under Boe's tutelage, Dutchwomen goaltenders have collected 13 ECAC Hockey Goaltender of the Week honors and one Goaltender of the Month honor. She has worked closely with senior Shenae Lundberg, who became the program's all-time winningest goalie last season and is on pace to set a new program mark for career saves.
Before arriving at Union, Boe spent a season tending goal for the Calgary Oval X-Treme of the Western Women's Hockey League. She played collegiately at Harvard and led the Crimson to three consecutive ECACH tournament titles and three Frozen Four championship game appearances from 2003-2005.
