Vintage T.J. Fox Fight

I found this interesting fight of T.J. Fox when he played in the AHL for the Worcester Sharks, and figured you guys would enjoy it.

Fox played two years at Union where he was one of the best players on the team. In 66 games he totaled 21 goals, 36 assists, and 57 points. He also accumulated 88 penalty minutes.

He left Union after two years when he signed with the San Jose Sharks. He played for Worcester for two seasons where in 150 games he tallied 19 goals and 23 assists for 42 points. In the 2008-2009 season he picked up 15 penalty minutes, where at least five of those minutes came from this fight.

Fox left the US after playing the 2009-2010 season in the Pittsburgh Penguins organization, and currently plays in Germany for the Hannover Indians along with Mike Schreiber '10 and Lane Caffaro '09. He's third on the team with 14 goals and 31 points. (Fox's Career stats)

Looking back on Fox's decision to leave school early, it looks like it hasn't worked out. Maybe guys like Keith Kinkaid should talk to guys like Fox to help figure out if it's worth leaving school early.

Enjoy the fight!

I know that I've already shown this video before, but as I bonus I figured I'd show a highlight from Fox's time in Schenectady;

  1. That Fox goal was by far the top hockey highlight of my freshman year at Union. We were a team in turmoil at the bottom of the ECAC standings and Clarkson was the #7 team in the country. This might have been the ONLY bright spot during that season for Union. I was very excited (as you can see at 2:22). This really shows how far Union has come as a program. Back then, it was the greatest day of the season when we upset the #7 team in OT. Now, we ARE the #4 team in the polls, winners of the Cleary Cup, and headed for the National Tournament. Unreal.

    Also, this video has the "DA NA NA NA NA NA NA NA, HEYYYYYY, YOU SUCK" chant, which the school has now banned for whatever reason.
