Former Union defenseman Greg Coburn has signed with HC Amiens Somme of the French Elite League.
Coburn spent last season with the ECHL's Las Vegas Wranglers, where he played alongside two of his former Union teammates, defensemen Ryan Forgaard and Nolan Julseth-White. Coburn had five goals and 15 assists in 69 games for the Wranglers, who suspended operations this season.
The 25-year-old will be reunited this season with another former Union teammate, defenseman Shawn Stuart. He signed with HC Amiens Somme in July.
Coburn recorded 20 goals and 53 assists in 153 career games with Union from 2009-2013.
