by Ryan Fay

The Dutchmen collected 11 of 50 first-place votes in the USCHO poll, an increase of eight over last week. In the USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine poll, the Dutchmen recorded 10 of 34 first-place votes after not receiving any last week.

The Dutchmen picked up a road sweep of Maine over the weekend, winning 3-0 on Friday and 5-2 on Saturday.

Minnesota, which was off over the weekend, remained first in both polls.

The Dutchmen return to action Oct. 24-25 when they host ninth-ranked St. Cloud State.
