Union senior forward Daniel Ciampini was named one of 20 candidates for the Senior CLASS Award in men's hockey on Wednesday.

The award is given annually to an NCAA Division I senior student-athlete in ten different sports for excellence on and off the ice.

Ciampini, who has also been nominated for the Hobey Baker Award, leads the nation in goals with 17 and is one point away from 100 for his career.
