The Clifton Park native was Union's top scoring defenseman last season with four goals and 27 assists in 34 games. His 31 points also led all ECAC Hockey blueliners.
Players in the camp will participate in on-ice sessions, off-ice workouts, team building exercises and seminars aimed to help them prepare for being a professional hockey player.
Taylor was drafted by the Penguins in the seventh round of the 2014 NHL Draft. He also spent time in the club's development camp last summer.
