Union junior center Mike Vecchione will take part in the Minnesota Wild's upcoming prospect development camp, the NHL team announced Monday.

The 46-player camp runs July 9-14 at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul. The camp will be broken into two teams, Team Green and Team White. Vecchione, a free agent invitee, will be on Team White.

Vecchione dressed in all 39 games for Union last season, finishing tied with Daniel Ciampini for the team lead in points with 50. Vecchione's 31 assists led the team. He was also a major weapon in the faceoff circle, winning a team-best 59.3% of his draws.

The 22-year-old is in an NHL team's prospect development camp for a second straight summer. He spent time in Florida Panthers camp a year ago.
