Goaltender LaPlante Commits to Union

It has been announced that Bonnyville Pontiacs (Alberta Junior Hockey League) goaltender Julien LaPlante has committed to play for Union College next season.

He is 6'1", 185 pounds, and 20 years old. He has set a few goaltending records for the Pontiacs and has improved statistically every season. For his stats go to AJHL.ca.

LaPlante is from Sherwood Park, Alberta, which is the same town Mike Schreiber '10 and Daniel Carr are from.

    Nice looking stats but it will give us 4 goalies by 2012 if Colin Stevens matriculates and Kinkaid is still here. Big question mark, will KK stay for 4 years?
