Martin St. Louis' Spinning Shootout Goal

Last night Martin St. Louis pulled off this really cool shootout goal against the Blackhawks. Some are debating whether this should be counted as a goal since it looks like he stopped is forward motion. What do you think Union fans?

The reason why I am posting it is because St. Louis played in the ECAC with Vermont. He was a three-time Hobey Baker Award finalist and is Vermont's all-time leader in goals (91), assists (76), and points (267). St. Louis is a member of the ECAC 1990s All-Decade team and was named one of the ECAC's Top 50 players of all-time this year. Also, he was named the ECAC Rookie of the Year and then made First Team All-ECAC his next four years. In the NHL, he became the first former NCAA player to win the scoring title (2004). The list goes on...

The crazy thing is that he was never drafted... I think St. Louis proved everyone wrong.
