Chalk up another award for Troy Grosenick

Troy has a series of very large flashcards that line the boards so that he can study during practice

Troy Grosenick has earned Capital One/CoSIDA Academic All-District men's at-large first team honors.  In laymen's terms, Tory has been awarded a national honor based on his academic excellence as a student athlete. More info on the award can be found here.

Earlier this year, Grose was awarded the Thomas VanArden Dukehart Award for having the team's highest GPA (3.83) and was a finalist for ECAC Hockey Student-Athlete of the Year Award.  In addition, he has volunteered as a tutor and a notetaker for students with disabilities.  On the ice, Grose did pretty well his first year as a starting goaltender, leading the ECAC in all major goaltending categories (GAA, S%, W%), finishing the year in second nationally for all major goaltending categories (third in S% by.001%), shattering school records, and winning the Ken Dryden Award as ECAC Hockey Goaltender of the Year.  He also was a finalist for some award named after a dude named Hobey.  Doesn't sound important but I figured I might as well mention it.
