Former Union forward Daniel Ciampini notched his first pro goal and assist on Saturday to lift the American Hockey League's Worcester Sharks to a 6-1 win over the Lehigh Valley Phantoms.
Ciampini gave Worcester a 1-0 lead at 5:16 of the first period. He added an assist on Ryan Carpenter's second period tally that gave the Sharks a 4-0 edge.
Ciampini finished the contest with a plus-2 defensive rating. He was playing in his third game with Worcester since signing with the team on Wednesday.
