ITHACA, N.Y. -- How sweep it is!

Tenth-seeded Union advanced to the quarterfinal round of the ECAC Hockey tournament following a 7-0 rout of Cornell on Saturday at Lynah Rink. The victory completed a two-game sweep of the seventh-seeded Big Red (11-14-6) and gave the Dutchmen their first-ever road postseason series win.

Union (18-16-2) will travel to top-seeded Quinnipiac for a best-of-three series next weekend. Game one will be Friday at 7 p.m. and game two will be Saturday at 7 p.m. Game three, if necessary, would be Sunday at 4 p.m.
