Two incoming Union men's hockey recruits have been honored by the North American Hockey League.

Lone Star Brahmas forward Sebastian Vidmar was named the South Division Most Valuable Player and Forward of the Year on Thursday. The native of Malmo, Sweeden was also selected to All-South Division team. He paced the circuit in scoring with 35 goals and 45 assists in 58 games.
Brahmas goaltender Jake Kupsky was picked for the South Division All-Rookie team on Wednesday. The native of Waukeshaw, Wisconsin went 19-4-4 with a 2.16 goals-against average and a .911 save percentage in 30 games.
Lone Star is currently competing in the league playoffs. After an opening round sweep of Wenatchee last weekend, the Brahmas take on Topeka in the best-of-five South Division finals starting Friday.
