by Ryan Fay

Former Union forward Kevin Sullivan recently signed with Strasbourg of the French Elite League for the 2015-16 season.

Sullivan spent this season in the ECHL, where he collected two goals and 12 assists in 31 combined games with Cincinnati and Reading.

He's the latest in a growing number of former Dutchmen to take their games to France. Forward Kyle Bodie (Morzine-Avoriaz), defenseman Greg Coburn (Amiens) and defenseman Shawn Stuart (Amiens) all spent time playing in the French Elite League this season.

Sullivan had 23 goals and 54 assists in 132 games with Union from 2010-14. He's perhaps best remembered for his late third period goal that sealed the Dutchmen's win over Minnesota in the 2014 national championship game.
