Union sophomore forward Spencer Foo was named ECAC Hockey men's Player of the Week, the league announced Tuesday.

He had a goal and three assists in a 4-4 tie against then eighth-ranked Harvard on Friday. The four points marked a single-game career high for the Edmonton, Alberta native. On Saturday, he added a tally in a 3-0 shutout of Dartmouth.
The strong weekend gave Foo the team lead in scoring. He has six goals and five assists in 15 games.
The honor marks the first time that Foo picked up the league's Player of the Week award.
