Video: Union's First Win Against RPI

This upcoming weekend marks the first time that both Union and RPI will be in the NCAA Tournament at the same time.

So, in honor of this historic occasion here are highlights of Union's first win over the Engineers. The game took place in 1988 when Union was still D-III, and RPI won the D-I National Championship just three years prior.

This looks like it was a great overtime game. It's also pretty cool to see how the rink looked back in the 1980s before I was born.

    I was at that game as well, all 5 years old and never been at a hockey game in my life. That is so awesome. Would have loved to see some oranges thrown on the ice though. Oh well.

    Great footage! I can't believe it was thier first win against RPI. RPI did finish 8th in the conference that year. They lost alot to the NHL after winning the DI chamionship.
