UPDATED: UNH, LSSU on 2013-2014 men's hockey schedule

by Ryan Fay

Union's 2013-2014 men's hockey schedule continues to be filled in little by little.

New Hampshire released its 2013-2014 men's hockey schedule on Monday and the Wildcats will host Union on Jan. 17-18. It will mark Union's first trip to UNH since dropping a 2-1 overtime decision on Oct. 29 2011. Union is winless in four Division I games against UNH.

Incoming Union recruit Michael Vecchione originally committed to UNH prior to committing to Union.

It was also confirmed on Monday that Lake Superior State will come to Messa Rink for a two game set, Oct. 18-19. The Dutchmen traveled to LSSU for a two game set on Jan. 4-5, losing 4-1 and 3-1. LSSU holds the Division I series edge, 2-0-1.

OTHER RUMBLINGS
It's believed Bowling Green will come to Messa Rink for two games and that UConn will come for one, but neither has been confirmed. It's also speculated that Union will travel for two games at Penn State, which is opening up a new facility later this year
