Union has picked up a commitment from Buffalo Junior Sabres (OJHL) defenseman Nick DeSimone for the 2014-2015 season.
The 19-year-old has recorded 27 points (8 g, 19 a) in 23 games this season. He leads the league in points by a defenseman.
DeSimone, who checks in at 6-foot-1, 190 pounds, scored 13 points (4 g, 9 a) in 36 contests with the EJHL's Connecticut Oilers last season.
A native of East Amherst, New York, DeSimone is the second defenseman coming in next season. The other is Connor Light, who currently plays for the Omaha Lancers of the U.S Hockey League.
