The season isn't over with yet for incoming Union hockey forward Kevin Shier.
Shier and the rest of the Toronto Lakeshore Patriots advanced to the Royal Bank Cup after a 2-1 win over the Wellington Dukes in the Dudley Hewitt Cup final on Saturday. The Royal Bank Cup, which runs May 10-18 in Vernon, British Columbia, decides the champion of Canadian Junior "A" Hockey.
Shier was held without a point in the final, but recorded three goals and three assists in five tournament games.
