The honors keep rolling in for Union senior forward Daniel Ciampini.
Ciampini was tabbed Division I National Player of the Month for January by the Hockey Commissioner's Association on Wednesday. The honor comes a day after he was named ECAC Hockey's Player of the Month.

The Hobey Baker candidate led the country in goals during January with 11 and shared the national lead in points with 18.
His best outing came on Jan. 24 against RPI in the third annual Mayor's Cup game. Ciampini matched a school record for points in a game with six behind a three-goal, three-assist effort. The performance helped Union re-claim the Mayor's Cup trophy with an 8-3 win.
The six-point outburst also marked an NCAA single-game high for the season, and it pushed the Concord, Ontario native over 100 points for his career.
Ciampini followed up his strong Mayor's Cup showing with two goals and two assists in a 5-4 win at fourth-ranked Harvard on Jan. 30.
The big month helped the 24-year-old take over the national lead in goals (22) and points (41) for the season.
Ciampini is the fourth Union player recognized by HCA in the past two seasons. Max Novak was named National Player of the Month last March-April, the same time that Mike Vecchione earned National Rookie of the Month honors. Eli Lichtenwald picked up the rookie award in Dec. 2013.
