Former Union men's hockey standout Jason Walters will spend another season playing professionally in Italy.

Walters joined the Broncos last November after starting the season in Sweden with Karlskrona. The 29-year-old was one of the Broncos' best players the rest of the way, finishing third on the team in scoring with 22 goals and 21 assists in just 23 games. His 1.87 points per game were a club best.
Walters played for Union from 2006-2010 and had 42 goals and 73 assists in 142 games. His 115 career points are tied with Wayne Simpson for sixth most in the program's Division I era.
