The 2015-16 Union men's hockey roster was released Monday, and we now know which numbers the incoming freshmen will wear this season.
Forward Brendan Taylor will wear No. 10, which was last worn by Mark Bennett (2011-15).
Forward Mark Dufour will don No. 11. Sam Coatta last wore it from 2011-15.
Forward Cole Maier will use No. 17, which was last sported by Daniel Ciampini (2011-15).
Forward Brett Supinski will wear No. 18, which was last donned by Max Novak (2011-15).
Defenseman Greg Campbell will use No. 20, which was last in use in 2013-14 when worn by Griffyn Martin.
Forward Ryan Walker will don No. 25, which hasn't been used since Stephane Boileau (2007-11).
Forward Sebastian Vidmar will wear No. 27, which was last used by Kevin Shier (2014-15).
Goaltender Jake Kupsky, who was picked by the San Jose Sharks in the seventh round of the NHL Draft on Saturday, will wear No. 31. It was last worn by Dillon Pieri (2011-15).
Goaltender Joe Young will don No. 33, which hasn't been worn since Marc Neron (2001-04). Young is the first goalie to wear No. 33 during the program's Division I era.
There is one number change among returning players. Senior defenseman Sebastien Gingras switched from No. 24 to No. 29. Gingras' father, Gaston, wore No. 29 during his playing days. Trevor Mingoia (2011-12) was the last to wear No. 29 with Union.
