The Union men's hockey team finished last season in 10th place in ECAC Hockey.

It's Union's lowest position in the poll since getting picked sixth in 2009-10.
Yale was the media's pick to finish first, edging Quinnipiac on the basis of points (325-322). Both teams garnered 10 first-place votes.
Harvard was the coaches selection to finish first, racking up nine of 12 first-place votes and 119 points. St. Lawrence (102 points), Yale (99) and Colgate (93) had the other three first-place votes.
Union was represented on both the media and coaches preseason All-Conference teams, also released Tuesday. Junior center Mike Vecchione was selected to both squads, while junior defenseman Jeff Taylor made the media's team.
Vecchione tied for second in scoring among league players last year with 19 goals and 31 assists in 50 games. Taylor topped all league defenseman in scoring with four goals and 27 assists in 34 contests.
