Union 2016-17 recruit Luc Brown will take part in the upcoming fifth annual Eastern Canada Cup All-Star Challenge, it was announced Monday.
Brown, who plays for the Ontario Junior Hockey League's Wellington Dukes, will be on the OJHL Oates team, one of four teams the league is sending to the tournament.
The forward is first on the Dukes – and fourth in the league – in scoring with 14 goals and 14 assists in 19 games this season.
The tournament will feature nine teams comprised of the best players from the OJHL, the Maritime Hockey League, the Quebec Junior Hockey League, the Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League, and the host Central Canada Hockey League.
It will take place Nov. 16-18 in Cornwall, Ontario.
