Junior goaltender Colin Stevens was named ECAC Hockey Goaltender of the Week, the league announced Tuesday.
The Niskayuna native turned aside 78-of-80 shots in Union's weekend sweep at New Hampshire. He made a career-high 38 saves in Friday's 3-1 win before setting a new career-high with 40 stops in Saturday's 3-1 victory.
It's the third time this season that Stevens was named ECAC Hockey Goaltender of the Week. He previously picked up the honor on December 10 and 17.
Stevens, who was also ECAC Hockey Goaltender of the Month for December, is 12-2-1 with a 1.98 goals against average and a .927 save percentage in 17 games this season.
