Stevens, a Niskayuna native, turned aside 21-of-22 shots to help the Monarchs to a 5-1 win over Norfolk. He made six saves in the first period, eight in the second and seven in the third.

Stevens was named the game's first star.

The contest was his fourth in the pro ranks, all coming this season with Manchester. He gave up five goals in his pro debut on Oct. 25, but has surrendered just six combined goals in three outings since.

Overall, Stevens is 1-3 with a 2.78 goals-against average and a .898 save percentage in the four games.

Stevens starred for Union from 2011-15, going 53-24-6 with a 2.12 GAA, a .926 save percentage and 11 shutouts. He signed an entry-level contract with the Florida Panthers after last season.
