Taylor picks up weekly honor

Union freshman forward Brendan Taylor was named ECAC Hockey Rookie of the Week, the league announced Tuesday.
Taylor scored his first career game-winning goal on Friday to lift Union to a 2-1 victory at 11th-ranked Yale. The win snapped the Dutchmen's five-game winless streak. On Saturday, he added an assist in a 2-2 tie at Brown.
