Vigneault to miss game at Union

Clarkson will play without its top offensive threat when it takes on Union Friday night at Messa Rink.

Sophomore forward Sam Vigneault, who leads the Golden Knights in scoring with nine goals and 11 assists, will miss the contest after being suspended for one game by ECAC Hockey late Monday.

The suspension was issued following a review of an incident that happened at the end of the second period in Clarkson's game against Colgate on Saturday.

Vigneault will be eligible to return to action on Feb. 6 when Clarkson travels to RPI.
